Definition
Build, price and send a quote, then convert it into a binding contract rather than retyping it. Multi-line, multi-day and recurring terms, with edits, extensions and re-rates handled on the same record from first quote to final return.
Why it matters
The front counter runs on this one screen, so it sets the pace of every booking the business takes. When quoting is slow or a quote cannot be converted, staff invent workarounds within weeks of go-live - and a quote nobody can find again is a rental that quietly never happened.
