Optional fee added to rentals that limits the customer's liability for damage. Three flavors: customer-signed waiver, no waiver (full charge process), or sale of waiver at check-out.
Why it matters
The waiver is a high-margin product. Operators who do not sell it leave 5-10% of revenue on the table.
