When you rent equipment from another shop and re-rent it to your customer. Tracks the obligation, billing, and return to the source vendor.
Why it matters
Subrent fills demand you cannot meet from your own fleet. Without explicit tracking, the source vendor does not get paid on time and the relationship sours.
